If you’re looking to do more than just diving on during your dive vacation, you’ve come to the right place. Utila Lodge now offers two unique Adventure Packages that bring a lot more excitement than your typical all inclusive diving trip.
The Lionfish Hunting “Kill and Cook” package is focused on the fun side of marine conservation. You and your group will go through a Lionfish Workshop led by members of the Whale Shark and Oceanic Research Center where you will learn all about the invasive species. During your stay with us, you will actually become a licensed Honduran Lionfish Hunter and you’ll be issued your very own Hawaiian Sling. What you end up killing on your hunts will end up on your dinner plate later that day – Now that’s fresh!
The Discover Utila Package pairs morning dives with an afternoon activity. There is no other package offered on Utila that allows you to explore the island so thoroughly. By the end of your stay, you’ll have experienced Utila to the fullest. Throughout all of these guided activities, you’ll learn all about Utila’s rich natural history while enjoying the adventure.
