We have put together the following information to make both the travel planning and journey as safe and as easy as possible.

Travel to Utila is most easily accomplished by flying to Roatan, Bay Islands (airport code: RTB) or San Pedro Sula, Honduras (airport code: SAP). These two international airports have direct service from several U.S. cities including Miami, New York, Houston and Atlanta.

 

Coming From Roatan (RTB):

There is daily ferry service from Roatan to Utila (and back), The ferry from Roatan to Utila would depart  at 2:00 pm. The Utila to Roatan connection would depart at 10:20 am from Utila.
The ferry ride itself would only be 60 minutes and the price would be $35 per person.

The ferry dock is located 10 minutes from the airport in Roatan. We can assist with any transfer with thrusted taxi drivers in Roatan.

There are charter flights available from Roatan to Utila. The price for a charter flight would be $450 for the plane. The plane could fit 3/4 people depending on the amount of luggage. 

The charter flight time would be only 20 minutes. ​

Coming From San Pedro Sula (SAP):

Flying into San Pedro Sula, Honduras is another option, however currently there are no direct flights from SAP to Utila. You would have to travel to La ceiba overland via taxi. This would take around 3 hours through some beautiful Honduran villages with 13,000 foot mountains to your the side. Giving a spectacular view. The taxi would cost around $125 and will take you from the Airport (SAP) to the DREAM ferry dock in La Ceiba. From the La Ceiba you would have to take the ferry which would take around 60 minutes. The ferry from La Ceiba departs at 9:00 am and 4:30 pm. The price would be $35 per person.
