We are excited to welcome you to Utila Lodge and the beautiful island of Utila, located in the heart of the Caribbean. Before you embark on your journey, it’s essential to understand the immigration procedures for entering Honduras. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help make your arrival a smooth and hassle-free experience.
- Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your planned departure date from Honduras.
- Travelers from most countries, including the United States, Canada, and European Union member states, do not require a visa for tourist visits of up to 90 days. However, visa requirements may vary by nationality, so please check the specific requirements for your country before your trip.
Travelers to Honduras are required to complete the online Honduras Immigration Precheck and the Honduras Customs Declaration form electronically before their journey.
- You must pre-register your arrival on the following website and carry a printout: Click here for Honduras Precheck Form
- To facilitate the customs process when traveling to or from Honduras, it is mandatory for all individuals to electronically fill out the Honduran Customs Declaration form before reaching the airport. In cases of family travel, the head of the household can complete a single form on behalf of the entire family. Please note that this form is required for both entry into and departure from the country. Click here for Honduras Customs Declaration Form
